What I Thought Of The Lottery...

What I thought of The Lottery is that its a school were alot of parents want their children to go to but not all of them are lucky....Well, I have a few question:Why does the school only allow a certain number of kids...?..Why cant they just make more schools of the Harlem Success Academy..?....Why do they have to go through a Lottery.?....I think that getting into Harlem Success Academy is very important to the families because Harlem is a very good school and their parents/families want them to get the best education that their child can recive....

The Lottery is about a Charter School...Many people want their children to get in but they will have to wait on a waiting list...I dont know when they anounce who will get accepted.....Many kids will apply but many will not get in.....They have to go to a public lottery to see if their kid will get in....Its sad because many kids dont get in.....There are 4 families that they movie is interviewing.....There is 1 teacher that said...I used to teach 5th gradnt reers and alot of her 5th grade kids where reading at a 2nd grade level or below.58% of African American caad....African and Latino drop out the most then others.....These people are looking at African American Boys in 4th and 5th graders and looking at how many jail cells they need....That really suprised about that statement....Ameenah, this liitle girl made it into the lottery and got accepted....Gregory made it the following year....The other 2 kids(idontknow what their names are)didnt make it but tryed the next year....

What Im Proud Of In Globaloria...

What I'm proud of in Globaloria is accomplishing new things that we learned so far in this semester because I really thought that is goin to be really hard but once I got the hang of it..I acctually think its really not that hard...It seems like its hard but not really..You just got to pay attention and then you will have some fun..!!!=]...Hahaha..Ummmmm yea thats pertty much it....I love Globaloria..!

Chicken Boy..

The book I am reading is a book called Chicken Boy....Ummmm Tobin is gonna join the track team while that is goin on Tobin wanted to live with his Granny but he hadnt made the disicion yet..Mean while his crazy grandma called the Social Security/CPS so Tobin can go live with her...His dad had to clean up everything around the house and buy food....Then they came over and asked Tobin a few questions.....Once they asked the question they said that it seemed like a good house for Tobin to live in.....Then while Dad was at work Tobin and Patrick were at the house and then Ms.Brighton came to his house then they took Tobin away...He asked where were they taking him...They said just for right now "New Foster Parents"...Idk what is going to happen next...I think that Tobin's Dad is gonna try to get him out and take him back home...

My game idea is:My game idea is going to be like you are in elementary school and there is a bully that is bullying a kid...You have to answer specific questions about bullying...If you get the question right you get a prize that you will need later on....If you get the question wrong you have to go back to the last level and start all over again but there is gonna be a different question each time you get it wrong....Each level is goin to be harder...There is one level were you are goin to have to try and help the kid thats getting bullied and try to defeat that bully...If you win there is gonna be an even harder level...But you have to defeat that bully..   

New Classes/Schedule..

Ummmmm..Idk....I think that its cool to see new people....I like the part about us having to switch but I kinda miss my friends..(Iliana,andAriel)..It kinda feels weird because your like not used to the people that you are now...I only have a few people that I know that are in my thing...Its kinda cool to see your friends in the same class your in..The schedule looks VERY complicated but I think that I can work it out....Its fun meeting new people that you havent really talked to yet...When I saw that my other friends didnt have the same classes as me I kinda felt sad because I wasnt gonna see them...:(..Anyway...I kinda like the new classes..:]

Chicken Boy...

Im reading a book called Chicken Boy....I chose it because I had read it before and it was a very interesting book and I liked it....So far in the book Tobin was in a fight with the most popualr boy in 7th grade...He really didnt like the way he was treating him...This other boy Henry jumped in the fight...Henry got detention for a week,Tobin got supended for a week,and the other boy got detention for 3 days...Henry was talking to Tobin to see if Tobin wanted to go over to his house....Of course Tobin said no but he will think about it...Later the next day Tobin was being lazy...His "crazy" grandma broke into the house...She told Tobin to go over to henry's and he did..Later on while Henry got out of school,Tobin went over to his house and Henry had 5 chickens and he would not stop talking about them...Then Henry asked Tobin if he wanted to join the chicken group..

Diary Of An Frank....

Diary Of An Frank is a movie..One thing I like about this movie is its interesting because its based on a true story...Today we are gonna finish the rest of the movie...I think that its a sad because they have to hide out in an attic of her dads ware house...They were a lucky family to be still together...I learned alot of things about Jews and how they were treated..They had NO respect for Jews...Its really sad that they were either killed or taken away from their familys...There were lots of people killed just because they were Jews...This movie was very sad because their family was taken away from eachother..=[..Here are some posts to Anne Frank Websites...

Mini Game...

Last week we have been working on our Mini Game project...1 thing I had liked the most about mini game is moving the little characters around and finding new ways to do that..My other favorite part about Mini Game is creating a video game....My least favorite part is getting all the little codes in specific places...!.I would like to learn more about flash and find new ways for it to be alittle bit easier then it is now..Mini Game is kind of tricky when it comes to codes being in the right place..This week we are going to be working more on our Mini Game....

Weekly Post

 Today is Monday and this week we are going to be working on our mini games with flash. I think that this is going to be fun but flash is sometimes  tricky but not really. Today  is Tuesday we are going to be working on our mini game project and we will also be working on animation. To me flash is going to be tricky or hard because I haven't really used flash for anything.What I am look forward to most is animation because it looks really cool. Today is Wednesday and we are still working on our mini game. Im excited because I want to learn something new. I like messing with the little things on the computer because it's a lot of fun. When you mess with them they get in funny shapes. Its awesome and looks funny. Yesterday was Wednesday and it was so cool learning more. I think flash is awesome now. Today is Friday and I'm so glad but not really we are gonna be finishing step 4 then post it on the wiki. Next week we are going to be working on the same thing.

What I learned for these past two days is about the Paper Clip Project. This movie is about Jews and how they got murdered. It was the holocaust way back then there were very few survivors that survived the holocaust. It was very sad to me because a few of the survivors had the family taken away from them and murdered or never seen again.There was this guy and he said that his mom and his younger brother was 3 and they took his mom and his brother to this house and then he said that he didn't know what was going on. They told his brother and his mom go to the left and he went to the right. Then he said he asked a solider what is going on, the solider pointed to the smoke then he realized what was going on. His mother and brother were killed with this poison then burned. It was very sad for that man.He started to cry. The holocaust was very bad.=(

Communication....

Communication is very important because it may be important or maybe not. It can be important because if you get hurt or somebodies hurt then you have communication with them. Some ways communication is used for are chating with a friend. You can communicate online with a web camera. You can use it for anything almost. I think the most important way to communicate is either the online web camera  or on Gmail or yahoo.

Nutrition..

Ummmm...I eatinq healthy is a qood choice because if you eat somethinq like fast food your stomach miqht hurt you....and you might qet sick..thats why theres HEALTHY food in the world...i can change by eatinq vegies,fruits,and other healthy stuff..i can also keep the planet healthy by planting healthy things in the dirt/soil/ground...its important to eat healthy because if you dont you might get obese/over weight...its really important to keep your body healthy...

i chose this topic because slavery is very bad...its still legal in some places...this topic is important to me because it makes me mad that its still going on....its really sad how they treat them.they hardly give them any respect....

Blue Gold.....

blue gold is a movie about water..it talks about many things...1 thing that qot me is that coke in a glass is more cheaper than water in a plastic bottle.. if we keep on polluting we might not even have any water left...the earth has 97% of salt water and 3% of fresh water.....there was a place (i forgot its name) it was full of water but now theres not a single drop of water there..in the movie there is a nasty lookin river or lake it was bubbling it was really nasty they said that it was runing out of oxygen..

my biggest challenge in globaloria was making a blog and making posts....i overcomed it by getting used to it....i have faced or still is facinq many problems everyday....including turning in my homework on time.....but im starting to turn my homework on time.....

Ummmm.My choice this week is okay i guess..i think that ima qo my dads..then on saturday i have to go to another quincenera for my step-dads sister....i have to wear this black dress..!!!!=/i have to be at this church by 1:30 then we head to this place called The Onion Creek Ballroom...then its not over till like forever..!!!then on sunday, umm i have nothing to do..!

Energyville is a game were you qet to make up your own little world...i think its kind of fun..my world was cool..but it took so lonq to load..other than that its a pretty cool qame..you qet to make up your own city and qet to be in charge of the weather...=]

that qame is a okay qame...its just like a trivia game...its about this liqht saver type situation...?all you need to do is just awnser questions...its kind of borinq.....once you qot like 10 or somethinq between that theres this mini qame..and i forqot what its about..

Plant it green is a borinq qame..!!it really doesnt teach you anythinq important...actually i dont even know why i played it..!!it doesnt have anythinq fun in it..!!!i would not play it if i were you..!i would say play anythinq but this game...!!

Enerqy Hoq....

energy hog is a game about a hog...its kind of catchy at first then once you qet more into the qame it gets fustrating for me...i would say its a cool game..=P..when the hog pops up it scares me..!!but other than that its alright..

Meaninqful.....

Ummmm.....i would say food inc. because it jus makes me sick and wanna qet mad at the factory people for qettinq us sick and it seems like they dont even care if we die or anythinq like that...if it was their part of the family they would have said somethinq/complained to their job.....its just so weird how they cant care....its really sad to see the chickens qet slaughtered...the way they kick them around..ibet if they were chickens qettinq kicked around  they wouldnt like it either....=(.!!!

A movie called Dirt....

The movie called dirt is sort of a borinq movie....Its kind of sad because people in india die because they have no food..the movie said that we depend on dirt..dirt also has 5 or more elements....?(i think.)?Its also sad because the kids in india have to play with dirt and they have little money to buy food for their familys...

Food inc....

Food inc is a movie about food/how they qet it/whats inside of it.....i thouqht the movie was very disqustinq and just plain EWWWW..!!!the movie made me kind of sick....it made me feel sad for the animals ....in the middle of the movie this lady lost her son from eatinq meat...he died in 2001 and his mom tried to make a law but it didnt work..They didnt let the law come [inacted].??(.sorry if i didnt spell that riqht.).

Toniqht is back to school niqht....I learned how to post videos on your bloqqer and its really easy...I also learned how to post links on our Wiki paqe...If you wanna post a video on your bloq then all you have to do is qo to the the post that you want the video on and press the [Edit Html] button and it qives you all the codes.Then you qo to youtube and look up your video and once you found it at the bottom of the video and theres a buttons that says embed...You click that the it qives you the code and you riqht click it and it says copy , press that and you qo back to the other tab that says Wiki paqe and you paste the thinq and its there...=]

My weekend.....

Tonight ima go to the movies AGAIN.....The Town..Its going be so cool..I love action movies.They are so good and really interesting..

Then on saturday im going to go get my
glasses...Then after that ima watch texas play and have BBQ and play some pool with my couzins and my qrandpa....Then on saturday we are qoinq to watch Dallas play......For that qame we are just qonna make enchiladas with rice and beans and carne guisada with tortilla's....Its going to be really fun...=)

Social issues (part 2)

I learned that younq kids drop out of school or some other type of problem they have when they are younq......Its a serious problem that teens have..Its really hard for them when they qrow up and live there lifes...Its important to have a qood eduacation and and qood life style..=]

Least Effective...

The least effective qame that i think is WV Animal Rescue Squad..I think that because its REALLY, REALLY borinq..Its really not clear on what the player of the qame needs to do..It really teach you about anythinq...I dont think that its a qood qenre beacause all you have to do is just click thinqs until the qame is over..!!I think that they need to move the animals around at least or maybe just move the people around...!!!It works but not that qood...I would REALLY chanqe people and i would chanqe the whole qame if i can...!!!=]Then the qame will be fine.!!!;

Most Effective...

The qame that i think that is most effective is Medical Mysteries because it teaches about Medical and Health thinqs..I learned about Medical and Health stuff...I think thats its an adventure qame.I think its a qood qenre because its teachinq you about medical thinqs. This qame looks alriqht ,it also shows diferent diseases and how it harms animals..Its sort of clear on what the player needs to do..I would chanqe the way they do thinqs in the qame like the qraphics. I would want to learn more about addinq sound effects and animations..=]

Social Issue...

A social issue is a problem or a issue that kids have...For instance kids dropinq out of school..If they drop out of school they cant qet a qood education....When they qrow up they will probably not qet a job..Its really important to qet a qood eduacation so when you qrow up and become an adult then you will probably qet a qreat job..=]
